Terms of service.
Short, readable, and the same terms we actually work under. Effective August 2026.
This is a plain-English summary of our standard terms, not a negotiated contract. Signed engagement terms, where they exist, control.
What we do.
Clementine writes and publishes SEO blog content for your website, as described on this site: keyword research, drafting, on-page optimization, publishing, and a monthly rank report pulled from Google Search Console. The specific scope for your business is whatever we agree to in writing before work starts.
The free 6-keyword batch.
We write six posts targeting six keywords at no charge. If none of those six reaches Google's top 3, you owe nothing. We choose the keywords — with your approval before we write — because keyword selection is the part that decides whether the batch can work. Rankings are checked in Google Search Console and in live search results.
Pricing and billing.
$125 per published blog. No setup fee, no dashboard fee. We recommend a three-month run so the work has time to compound, then it's month to month. There is no long-term contract. Invoices are issued as posts are delivered and are due on the terms listed on the invoice.
Cancellation.
You can stop at any time after the recommended run. Posts already published are yours to keep — they live on your domain, under your account.
No ranking guarantees.
Beyond the free 6-keyword batch gate above, we do not guarantee rankings, traffic, or revenue. Google controls the results page and changes it constantly. What we guarantee is the work: research, writing, publishing, and honest reporting of what actually happened.
Your responsibilities.
You give us the access we need to publish (CMS or site access, Google Search Console), approve keywords and drafts when asked, and confirm that anything you send us — claims, credentials, images — is accurate and yours to use.
Ownership.
Once an invoice for a post is paid, the content is yours. Our internal process documents, templates, and tooling stay ours.
Limitation of liability.
To the extent the law allows, Clementine is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost rankings. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
Governing law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are resolved in the state or federal courts located in Missouri.
Changes.
We may update these terms. The version on this page is the current one, and material changes to active engagements are communicated by email before they take effect.
